2 months agoThe office that used to be here was a great company. I will not be paying a flat fee of $400 to file my taxes. I can get the exact same service for a fraction of the cost. So sorry Tanya. Really enjoyed your firm before Stokes came in. Hopefully they realize that they are pricing themselves out of the market

5 months agoSince switching to Stokes & Company the service has been lacking. Business owners have to file a BOI before Jan 1 2025. When we called to ask if this was something they filled out or if I needed to we were told they would call us back. 3 weeks later no phone call, so we call them. We explain again what we are needing to know about the BOI. I was told $550 for them to fill it out and file it. QBO would do it for $150. I now know that the BOI is just verifying the company information and who owns it. It took me 5 minutes with QBO and they filed for me. I can't recommend this company. It feels as if they were trying to either rip us off or just price it so high we would go elsewhere. Well, we will go elsewhere.

She has helped me for years with my personal and business tax preparation. Tanya is friendly, patient, and always willing to help and the staff have always been kind and helpful.

2 years agoIf you are looking for a trustworthy and responsive accountant, Sam and the entire team at Edwards Thomas Group are the best choice in Upstate SC. I brought them all my tax information on April 11th and they had everything ready to file by the 14th. They are so knowledgeable and helped me maximize my return. This is the second year that I have used them and wouldn't consider anyone else. Everyone is friendly and I love that they actually answer their phone and respond promptly to questions and concerns. They also provide other business solutions and I am using them to set up my small business.
