I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. After weeks of being given the runaround and excuses, my business taxes were only finalized one day before the deadline. This delay was not only stressful for me but also completely disrupted my family's tax filings, as their returns were dependent on my business results being finished. For the high price they charge, I expected professional management and clear communication, neither of which were provided. I submitted all my paperwork And QuickBooks Files by February 10 and did not hear from them until March, 3 days before the filing deadline letting me know that they needed additional documents because according to them they can’t import QuickBooks files.I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

It wasn't exactly a smooth road and I didn't get my final return until tax day. But I'm glad to say the amount that I owed for capital gains on the sale of my house was less than what I expected. I tried hard to upload all of my documents as soon as I got them, and all of mine were uploaded mid-March. But it took a fair amount of effort to get to the end point and didn't leave time for questions, ultimately. It was hard for me to communicate with them. I never really knew which email to use or how to access the team through the portal. Or even who I was supposed to be communicating with. I wasn't a fan of the portal. I couldn't organize my documents how I wanted to. All I could do was upload them. This was my first year with RNC CPAs, and I'm not sure what I want to do going forward, it will depend on communication throughout the year. As my taxes become more complicated, I have more questions. It's important for me to be able to reach out and ask those questions throughout the year. I also paid more than I've ever paid for taxes before. Yes it was the most complicated my taxes have been, but I don't know if it was reasonable or not. I was just surprised to get another significant bill at the end after already paying the $250 deposit. I also don't love that they are in a state far away from me. I still can't quite get used to never meeting someone in person. Nneka was really great about a couple Zoom appointments, but that was the only person I ever "met."

I strongly advise looking elsewhere for tax services. I was given the runaround for weeks, and despite the high fees, the communication was abysmal. My personal filing was dependent on my mother’s business taxes being completed; they finally delivered her results just one day before the deadline. This left me scrambling to finish my own business taxes with less than 24 hours to spare. Overpriced, unprofessional, and full of excuses. Save yourself the stress and find a firm that respects deadlines.

Great advice!! Very knowledgeable and understanding of business related topics. I had problems with how my LLC was being structured because I moved to another state and wanted to register my business with a new location added to the business name.
