a year agoThey had one job - file the tax returns on time. They didn't do it. We got hit with a late fee. We started reaching out to them in early March to get a headstart on preparing the tax documents but they didn't get back to us until 4:45 pm ET on Tax day. Even then, the whole return was filed wrong and had to be re-filed. We have discontinued our account but they still haven't sent us any of the bookkeeping documents that we paid them for. Chris Hagen was excellent at communication and occasional advice. Other than his contribution, this was an expensive affair for not much in return.

2 years agoI started my business and Bowman accounting in Columbia MD, helped me with the financial and payroll services, can't thank them enough for being so resourceful and responsive. Now Howard Howard and Hodges and his manager at the Columbia MD location Mr Jones asked me to find another accounting office because I have compliant that Mr Randy didn't upload my company's financials since October 2022. Mr Jones said that he's disappointed that I have requested my financials being handled by a different person. I don't understand why he's disappointed with me, I do pay my dues on time every week. I do agree with Mr Jones 100% when he said that I should find another accounting firm. I don't agree with Mr Jones when he said that it's up to Mr Randy to do my financials, I didn't know that I have hired Mr Randy's account service, I as a customer request the accounting services of Bowman now Howard Howard and Hodges service, I think you have it backwards. I'm firmly believe it is time to go. I'm hoping they don't kick me out right away.
