4 months agoI have used CSI for all of my payroll, bookkeeping and accounting needs for over one year now. I also use them for my taxes, both personal and business. I really appreciate the fact that it is all in one company. They all work as a team and support each other in their roles. Burt, my accountant, has been instrumental in my growing business, taking the time to really hear my concerns and answer all of my questions. He provides me with insightful ways to save money and build up my business. Alex, our payroll specialist, is spectacular. Alex manages a very very complex payroll (everchanging) with such grace and support. Bert, our payroll specialist supervisor is awesome, and jumps in when needed. My books are always concise, thank you, Erin, and questions needing answers are relayed to me in a way that works for my busy schedule. a month agoCSI Accounting may try to spin this by saying they offered me a new accountant or that taking onboarding fees from my account—after our relationship was terminated—was warranted. It was not. The truth: I received no tax advice, no business guidance, and no real onboarding. The only thing they provided was payroll, which I paid for separately. My assigned tax person came to our meeting without reviewing my file, admitted to being new to the systems, and openly struggled to use them. Charging me for this is indefensible. Withholding services, then helping themselves to my business account after termination, destroyed any trust. Whatever they claim, the fact is simple: I paid for services I never received. I hired CSI Accounting to support my business with the expectation of receiving high-quality service based on their confident promises. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the strong sales pitch, they failed to deliver on key aspects of their service. When I raised concerns and requested a fair negotiation regarding payment for services that were never rendered, they abruptly ended our relationship “effective immediately.” I then began formally disputing those charges through my American Express account. Rather than respond to the dispute in good faith or allow the process to play out, CSI took an entirely inappropriate step: they bypassed the dispute process and directly accessed my business checking account—without my consent—to withdraw the same funds. This withdrawal occurred more than a week after our business relationship had already been terminated and without any form of authorization from me. I did not give permission for this transaction, and their actions represent a serious breach of both trust and professional ethics.
