Carolina Accounting & Tax Solution

I engaged Carolina Tax and Accounting Solution (formerly C-Accounting Solutions) over one year ago to do forensic accounting, re-file several years of taxes, and file new taxes. I paid $3000 to this firm. I called repeatedly over the year and asked for updates. They never produced any work or got anything done. They refused to call me back. Because of their failure to produce anything I was unable to get health insurance under the ACA for 2 years for myself and my family. They repeatedly called my elderly mother, who is a partner in my company, despite my requests they do not call her and speak with me as I am the CEO and Principle. They refused to call me. Eventually I got a call from the rep assigned to me from the company and she admitted fault saying "We failed you". Still the owner Joanna Hoffman has refused to return my documents, return my phone calls, or return my money. They refuse all communication. I would not recommend ANY business engage this firm. They do not care. They are disorganized and do not care what material harm they caused me, my mother, or my business. Do not do business with this company or you risk your own financial and mental health.

Worst possible experience you could imagine. I had them as my accountant for a little over two years and they did little to nothing. I paid a $125 monthly fee for them to keep my books on a monthly basis. Found out at tax time last year that my books weren't up to date like they said. I gave them all my tax papers in early February and it took them until August to get them done because it took them that long to get my books up to date. They assured me that things would be different from there forward. Well, this year same thing. I had all my tax papers to them by the end of February and found out my books weren't current yet again. After MANY emails and promises of "end of business tomorrow" I finally got them done the last week of August. Then they had the audacity to charge me full price for my returns, business and personal, for almost $1000. They refused to e-file my returns until I paid them. I would never use these people again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you like having books that are not up to date and throwing your money at a useless service, then be my guest. I'm positive there are a hundred other companies out there that can do better work. I'm sure my 11 year old son could be just as useful.
