As a new small business owners, my wife and I wanted to begin working with a local CPA to navigate our tax situation while also leveraging their knowledge to ensure we were making the best choices with our money. After a satisfactory initial meeting with Bill, we decided to move forward although his pricing was quite high. We created our portal accesses and my wife wanted to ask him some additional questions via email, which was encouraged at our initial meeting, to ensure we understood their practice with filing (paper vs electronic) and pricing with state and federal. We then received notices that our portal access had been terminated when attempting to log in to read the message response. I called his office and was sent to his voicemail. I asked Bill to call and explain. Instead of calling, he decided to email, blaming his staff for cutting our portal access before explanation was given. In his email, he assumed we were considerably uncertain about things so he felt it may be best to seek assistance elsewhere. At no time did we say we were uncertain or questioned our arrangement; we merely wanted some clarification prior to signing any agreement. When you choose to respond via email instead of picking up the phone to call a client, it shows me there is a lack of character and interest in smaller accounts such as ours.

I always used turbo tax until things got a bit more complicated when we opened a business. So far things have been great with bill and he has brought some crucial tax strategies to the table that we`d not been able to accomplish when doing things on our own. You`ll be in good hands because Bill does things the right way. Consider his services as an investment, it will pay for itself!
