I’m Florence Ye, the founder of TheraBooks and Tax: a bookkeeping, tax, and fractional CFO firm for group therapy practices. Thank you for your time.

You’re probably wondering, why group practices?

Because both my mom and dad are therapists and are building their own group practice together. My parents immigrated from China, and I remember helping my mother with her essays while she was earning her MSW from USC.

After seeing my parents go through years of challenges to get to where they are today, I know the hard work therapists put themselves through to serve their community. I saw my parents struggle with student loan debt, telehealth platforms underpaying them, and finally taking the leap to go solo.

That’s why I’m passionate about helping practices remain independent. Our country is facing a growing mental health crisis, especially among younger generations. I believe independent practices place much greater care towards both their therapists and clients. I believe our future generations deserve access high quality, thoughtful care.
