Snap Advisory – Tax, Accounting, & vCFO

I do not typically write reviews, but in this case, I feel it necessary. For more years than I should have, I put full trust in SNAP to deliver tax "advisory" but unfortunately received nothing of the sort. Even after having in person meetings with Saad to go over specifics of my business and voicing concerns, I was told by him directly, I am in good hands. I now realize the stories and arrogance won me over at the time. So, I was blindsided after initial tax projections for the year, I was notified late that I "owed" federal and state much, much more and need to pay it immediately. After another year with the same outcome, I felt something was very wrong. I thought I was paying way too much in taxes, so I sought a second opinion. After vetting tax consultants extensively, due to this experience, I found a new professional. My new accountant found so many elementary mistakes and overlooked items, they asked if I really had a professional do these returns or did I do them myself. That was embarrassing but aligned with my concern. Thankfully, after acquiring a new tax professional I received over $50k in returns after I REFILED previous year's that SNAP had overseen. I was also charged yearly, multiple times the amount I am now paying, WAY overpriced! I expect the response to deflect or claim they do not have me listed as a client or possibly that you can't win them all, but that amount of money is significant. Due to my horrible and misguided experience, I did not feel comfortable using the email they had on file. Second opinions are always worth it in professional fields!
