Dean has been helping us and our business for more than a decade. We enjoy his fast response and getting the most value for us. We appreciate his advise when we had to make some business decisions. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Dean and his team.

Dean has been my CPA for over 20 years. Even though I've moved to another state, I still continue to go to Dean for my tax returns because I so appreciate how knowledgeable, ethical and thorough he is. I also really like the new software. It is intuitive to use and easy to send all the supporting documents online.

I have been a client of Rodahl since 2005, They have helped me set up 5 different business along with consulting and accounting with a 503C. I filed my taxes with Rodahl and Company for a couple years. One year, I checked in many times on the status of my filing and I kept being told it would be filed on time. I never heard back. They left me hanging even until Tax Day. When I reached out on Tax Day, I was still given the same response that they will get it done. I then emailed Dean and asked him to please let me know when it's done so I can rest easy knowing it's done. I was only notified at about 10PM that night that it was finally filed. How incredibly anxiety inducing... The next year, I told them they filed on the literal last day of the previous year's tax season and that I did not want to experience that again. They filed earlier and I THOUGHT they did okay (more on this below). This year, I reached out to Rodahl and Company for help logging into their portal and they told me Dean would call me back. He never did so I reached out again. Dean was very rude with me and said that he will not help me log into their portal because I "fired" them. At this time, I did not fire them... in fact, I hadn't even spoken to them since the previous tax season so I don't know where he got this idea. Anyway, this was a good enough reason for me to actually cut ties with Rodahl & Company. This year, I used a different CPA and the experience has been so much better. They actually communicate with me - they reach out when expected to. They also noticed some things were missing in my filing last year. As someone who isn't an expert in taxes (hence paying someone to help you file), you trust your CPA to help you file correctly. To learn that they just filed the bare minimum and didn't go the extra mile to file thoroughly is disappointing, on top of the already poor service. If you just want to file and don't care about the quality of your filing, Rodahl and Company is probably fine. If you want to file correctly and not be ignored, I recommend any another CPA. Edit: The response to my review implies that I came in with my request last minute, but I had already been a client with them for a year before the 'filing on Tax Day' incident and I submitted all information in advance of their deadlines. It's a bit of a disingenuous response.
