Have used Jones Advisory for my tax preparation for @10 years. They are detail oriented and efficient. More than one associate was extremely patient with me as I navigated a new tax preparation portal, and they were immediately responsive when I had a question. This is extremely important to me — when I encountered a question, I didn’t have wait for a resolution. I’d highly recommend Jones Advisory.

They are knowledgeable and we got the services we needed from them, but they are not at all forthright about their rates, which are substantial, so if you use them prepare for a large bill they don't tell you about until you get the invoice. We won't be using them again. Because they replied - they are correct, there is a form you sign, so mea culpa there, but I will say my husband and I both missed it, so it can't be that easy to spot. I'm maintaining my position that they are not terribly transparent about their rates, which are very high for what you get. When I questioned them, I got a pretty snippy reply from the CPA about their level of effort and expertise. A little extra communication would go a long way, but I get the feeling every time you email these folks they're clocking the minutes and adding it to your bill.

My taxes were complicated this year due to the death of a spouse, termination of a trust and the initiation of new trust. Jones handled these matters in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner. My taxes were completed 2+ weeks before the April 15th deadline, much to my relief. I will continue using their services in the future to eliminate my tax headaches.
