BLUF: Mr. swift is a gem and no to need to search for any other tax professional. Growing up, I had a phenomenal tax professional named Harold Williams. But he wasn't just a tax guy. He knew me. My story. My journey through the military. All of our major life events. Every November or December him and I would have a phone call and discuss our tax plan. What had changed? How's the family doing? It was fantastic. He even let me join him for lunch one day to pick his brain on becoming a tax professional myself.Then a few years back, Harold passed away. We lost a dear friend and our tax guy. His customers got referred to a different tax pro and so I transitioned, thinking that if Harold trusted this person, so could I. So I called this person to set up a meeting much like I did every year with Harold. At first, the secretary scoffed at me and said this gentleman doesn't normally do that. Eventually, she gave me an appointment and I had a call. This particular tax professional was cold and uncaring, but I didn't really know anybody else. So for a couple years, I used this company. Then they got bought out by another company and I don't have the time in this already long post to talk about how abysmal it got after that. So I was on the search again. I just starting googling tax pros in Williamsburg area and Griffin and Johnson Tax Prep popped up with great reviews. So I called and got a hold of Robert. You guys, it was like I teleported back in time. Robert listened to my story, was interested in not just my tax situation, but about me and my family. And he's phenomenal when it comes to the tax work too! Insanely responsive and goes well above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed. I never thought I'd find another Harold. But now I am already dreading the day that Mr. Robert Swift hangs up his hat and I'll have to find another Mr. Swift!
