This USED to be a 5 star review and I shocked I’m changing it. I’ve been a client of Duryea & Edwards CPA for about a decade, handling both my personal and business taxes. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing. Despite years of trust and consistent payments, I returned from being out of the country to find that my account was threatened with collections due to delays in processing payments that were entirely their fault. They admitted to not processing payments since January, but instead of taking responsibility, I was met with threats of collections. Communication was poor, and I felt my concerns were dismissed. After almost a decade of business, I expected better treatment and accountability. Sadly, I will not be working with them again and cannot recommend their services based on my recent experience. Truly heart broken.

Duryea and Edwards are the absolute best in the business! Coming in as a new business owner, I was very new to everything and they've made my experience SO easy and have been SO helpful in explaining everything! They have exceeded EVERY expectation I've had, and go above and beyond to help their clients. Jack is so knowledgable in his field and makes you feel at ease with any concerns. Cathy, and all of the front office staff are the sweetest, most helpful people you'll ever meet! They are so time efficient with any questions you may have, and provide such detailed expert advice throughout the year. They are MORE than worth the hour drive for me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
