Do not recommend them. Dropped my taxes off two weeks ago after them saying I would have an appointment on that day. I walked in and the lady told me that they were sick and they would follow up with me the next business day. Never got a call, called them multiple times finally, someone called me back the following week and said that they would have it done that week. Going on week two never heard from them. I went in and picked my tax forms up and will do them myself. Communication is terrible and beware if you call they will make you talk to their voicemail not an actual person.

Cannot THANK Mark and his team enough for everything they have done for my family over the last 10 years! I should have written a review many years ago when Mark has saved me over and over on the fact that I can be careless with paperwork and not good at remembering things! Not only has he always done my taxes fast and gotten me the best return that he could, but he always answered my questions and been super professional. This year in particular, he got my taxes done so fast and my return within one week! I have no idea what magic he was able to do for me but it was so helpful! We are disappointed with the service we received from Cherokee Tax Group. We went there to have our 2013 Federal return and two state returns for partial year residency in each state. We thought our returns had been filed in March but in June discovered that one of the state returns had not been filed. A message was left for Mark but he never returned that call. Several days later, our refund appeared in our checking account. We never received an explanation for the late filing. At that point, we carefully reviewed the other returns and found two errors on the Federal return that caused us to overpay taxes due. After contacting Mark, we did receive an amended 1040X but the numbers did not match our original return. We received three variations of the 1040X and after several e-mails and phone calls, we finally completed the 1040X ourselves and mailed it November 14, 2014. We received our refund on January 8, 2015.

Highly recommend using Cherokee Tax Group. I thought this years taxes would be complicated with all the changes due to COVID but they made it quick, simple, and easy. Very happy, great staff and COVID friendly. I'll be next year!

I have used Mark for several years and I have always had exceptional, prompt service from him. I definitely recommend him to family and friends as their CPA! My experience has been friendly from the time I walk in the door until the time I leave. Very fortunate to have found someone that actually cares!
