Would not recommend her as an accountant. We worked with her for a year and not only was she expensive but she's just so slow to respond. She is knowledgeable, but I felt like we missed planning opportunities because guidance often came later than expected. To be fair, there were two of us coordinating with her, so I understand that can make communication more complicated. That said, there were so many times we would meet with her and she would say, "Okay, let me put that on my list to discuss next time," and we would have to bring it up again just for her to say the same thing. There were also strategies we spent time implementing that ultimately weren't used or that we later found out we weren't eligible for (even though we discussed it extensively), so it felt like we spent a lot of time and effort for nothing. We met with her at the end of 2024 to start planning for 2025. She told us to reach out later in the year after tax season. We ended up signing with her in June and we were back billed to April. We ultimately ended our engagement but stayed with her long enough for her to file our tax return. Recently I noticed an error (my fault) and asked her to amend the return, but she declined.
